I just love this song so much, especially the Neptunes Remix. I want to make a music video to this starring none other than, me. Maybe some guys as well. It is not a song about sex or anything it is just about being a friend or a companion. By Your Side, she is wanting to be friend to a person that sometimes had it hard. Think about it, I would never leave any of my friends/ companion's sides, because for one thing that just aint me, and another reason why because of the love that I want ot share with my friends and familiy. See I may not know what is going on with other people's lives but sometimes they just need a shoulder to rest thier head or to cry on. Funny isnt it? Now a days not many people know what a true blue great friend or lover is because, some think that they have to live up to societies standards to fit in to this mass puzzle of acceptance. Not really. People are specail just the way that they always were. The people around us also shape us who we are to be later on in our lives but you have the coice to make that decision. Back in the day, people were not alwyas chasing the people of the same sex, No buddy. Now we got this homo and hetro sexual thing going on and same gender marriages. Face it Marriage is and forever will always be meant to be for a man and a woman, not man and man or woman and woman. That is just nasty. When I settle down, I want to make a baby, not a blood puddle in bed. Yeah I said it blood. What is a gilr gonna do, stick a finger in another girls' cooter. Ok now I am sounding dirty. But another word of advice to me, never fully give your heart away, God will tell you when. Cause if you give it away too soon, you may end up getting your feelings hurt. Try not to let boys tell you that God said " that is the girl I see you with..." Hello, youre only 17 and you still have college and a future corp job and things to do, and destiny to fullfill and so many onther aspects of life. Dont waist it revoloing your world around one man. Mama tells you this all the time. Remeber what DC said "be a friend first before you be a lover..."
